Ingredients

  • 60 Grams Butter
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, finely chopped
  • 60 Grams All Purpose Flour
  • 375 Mililliters Nestlé Omega Plus UHT Milk
  • 1 Can Tomatoes with juices (540ml)
  • 2 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Pinch Red Chili Flakes
  • 340 Grams Penne or Fusili
  • 30 Grams Butter, for tossing
  • 250 Grams Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 3 Leaf Spring Onion, chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped

Step 01.

Melt butter in a large saucepan. Add garlic, cook without browning a few minutes until fragrant.

Step 02.

Stir in flour. Cook gently, stirring, 2 to 3 min.

Step 03.

Whisk in Nestlé Omega Plus UHT Milk. Bring to the boil, reduce heat. Cook 3 to 4 min. Stir constantly.

Step 04.

Stir in canned tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, pepper and hot red chili flakes. Cook gently another 5 to 6 min.

Meanwhile, cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water. (Follow cooking timing mentioned on pack).

Drain pasta well and immediately toss with tomato sauce, butter and Parmesan cheese. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Sprinkle each serving with spring onions and parsley. Add tomatoes if desired.
