Ingredients

  • 150 Grams NESTLÉ® GOLD™ Cornflakes
  • 30 Grams Dried Anchovies
  • 50 Grams Peanuts
  • 1 Tablespoon Oil for stir frying
  • 2 Tablespoons Oil
  • 20 Grams Minced Shallot
  • 20 Grams Minced Garlic
  • 3 pieces Red Bird’s-Eye Chilies, sliced
  • 30 Grams MAGGI® Sambal Tumis Paste
  • 3 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Honey

Step 01.

5 min

Stir fry anchovies and peanuts until fragrant and crispy. Set aside.

Step 02.

5 min

Heat up oil in a frying pan and sauté the shallot and garlic until fragrant and golden brown. Add in chilli and MAGGI® Sambal Tumis Paste and stir well.

Step 03.

Add in sugar and honey, then stir fry until sugar dissolves over low heat.

Step 04.

Add the NESTLÉ® GOLD™ CORNFLAKES, fried anchovies and peanuts. Stir until well combined.

Step 05.

15 min

Transfer corn flakes mixture into a baking tray lined with parchment paper and spread it out evenly. Bake in a preheated oven at 130°C for 10–15 minutes, or golden brown.

Step 06.

10 min

Leave to cool completely and store in an air-tight container.
